  • Medical Life Support Discount
    Qualifying medical patients or their family member can receive an $17 monthly discount on their SRP bill while using life-sustaining equipment.

Low-Income Energy Efficiency

SRP provides up to $6,000 per eligible household for energy-efficiency home improvements on top of federal funding. Improvements could include:

  • Insulation
  • Window shading
  • Low-flow showerheads
  • Faucet aerators
  • Air conditioner duct seals
  • Space heating and cooling system equipment maintenance and tune-up
  • Evaporative cooler tune-ups or motor upgrades
  • ENERGY STAR-labeled compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs

Emergency Charitable Assistance
SHARE
Customers in need of SHARE funds can request assistance by calling SRP Customer Resource Counselors at (602) 236-3000. An SRP Customer Resource Counselor can refer you to the appropriate Salvation Army office and advise what information you will need.

Home Energy Assistance Fund
Provides funds for low-income families experiencing extreme financial hardship to help pay overdue utility bills and prevent potential electric or gas shutoffs. Administered by the Arizona Community Action Association (ACAA) through Community Action Program (CAP) offices in every county. May provide eligible individuals annual one-time financial assistance of up to $500 to restore utilities to avoid disconnections. Individuals may only apply once in a 12-month period for funding.
